Flexible, Honest and Reliable Approach
At easierthan we offer a flexible and honest approach. Where possible, we will always try to offer you the choice of low cost alternatives, as well as "bells and whistles" solutions for your requirements.
We also believe in giving you an honest evaluation of your needs, even if it means suggesting that a website from us is not the ideal solution! We want our customers to go away and tell others how great we are, NOT complain that they've splashed out for something that isn't what they expected.
And unlike a lot of web companies out there, we're not a "hit and run" outfit who lose interest once payment has been taken. We always answer emails and respond to phone calls promptly. If you've been let down before, why not give us a try?
Less Jargon
We can't promise you no jargon, but we will make every effort not to bamboozle you with techno-babble. Wherever possible, we will explain things clearly in lay-persons terms. Unlike many less scrupulous web designers, we don't use jargon to extract money for things you don't need!
As you look round this website therefore, you won't see a lot of the technical stuff you find on other web designer's sites. Why? easierthan have all the necessary knowledge and skills, but we don't believe you should have to learn them all too!
We understand that as a business, a website is a means to an end. Let us take care of the technical side of things, leaving you free to concentrate on your day job.

Reasonable Pricing
easierthan believe that you can produce a good website for a reasonable price. Although we can't answer the obvious question of "How much will it cost me?" without talking to you about your specific requirements, we can give you a rough idea of what to expect.
A basic 4 to 5 page "we're here, this is what we do, give us a call" website could cost as little as £300 with an annual maintenance cost of £25.
That's just £400 for 5 years! What other advertising medium is that reasonably priced?
And in many cases this is all an organisation needs to start off with - a presence on the web that helps to get them noticed and bring in more business.
Strong Technical Background
With an easierthan website you're in experienced hands. Its founder, David Barton, has been programming computers since 1987 and has been working with websites since 1998.
David's most recent employment was as an IT Development Manager at Wyre Borough Council. Amongst other things he was responsible for a team that developed the Council's website and a Content Management System to allow users to update it.
During his time there the website grew substantially to include 30,000+ pages, 10,000+ documents and 2,000+ images and at one point was ranked 20th out of 465 local government websites.
With such experience easierthan can provide the following valuable skills to assist in getting your website up and running:
- Over 10 years experience of writing websites, including very complex features.
- Good spelling, grammar, editorial and proof-reading experience.
- Excellent understanding of Search Engine Optimization, aka Google rankings, etc.
- Awareness of security threats and experience of making websites less susceptible to hacking.
- Experience of registering and transferring Domain Names, i.e. www.yourcompany.co.uk.
- Migration of existing websites and their content.
- Design, photography, scanning and digital manipulation of images and logos, etc..
